The probability that Ari eats ice cream is 0.6
The probability that Barry eats ice cream is 0.8
The probability that Chris eats ice cream is 0.7

What is the probability that Chris Sticks to the diet?
Does this question imply that only chris to the diet and ari and barry don't stick to the diet
or does it imply that chris sticks to the diet regardless of whether Barry and Ari stick to the diet?

To find the rate of change of the function y = x^2 at the point (3,10)
Would it be y = 2x,
y = 2(3)
y = 6
is this correct?

Yes however it is y' or dy/dx not y

if f(x) = 2x^2 + 3x, lim h → 0 (f(x+h) - f(x))/h =
What exactly is this question asking?

How are you meant to know whether a question asking you to find a sin value, for example, sin 225, is asking for the value in degrees or radians?
Would the same apply for cos and tan?

The area of a bushfire, A hectares, t hours after the fire has started is modeled by the rule A = 90t^2 - 3t^3, t > 0
After how many hours does the fire go out
A = 0
90t^2 - 3t^3 = 0
t = 0 and 30

Which answer do i choose? 0 hours or 30 hours?

When stating the domain and range, how do you know whether to put ( or [

Bump
Any help would be appreciated

The probability that a goldfish survives 1 month in a home where there is no cat is 0.9, whereas the probability that a goldfish surviving one month in a home where there is a cat present is 0.3

There is a 40% chance of selecting a home in which a cat is present

What is the probability of a goldfish surviving 2 months in a home where there is a cat present?

Is a limit not well behaved only if the denominator = 0, or also if the numerator = 0 ?
Thanks
Have an exam tomorrow

Do sin, cos and tan graphs have asymptotes?

What do you mean by not well behaved?

Only tan graphs have asymptotes,

y = tan(x) has asymptotes at x = pi/2 + k.pi (where k is an integer)

What exactly is this question asking?
This question is asking you to differentiate f(x) through first principles.

The value of sin(225) is neither in degrees nor radians.

t = 30, t = 0 is the start of the bushfire.

What is the difference between a general solution and solving for a specified domain in trig equations?

Also, can someone please explain how to find the general solution to the following equations.
Cos 2(x+pi/3) = 1/2

2 tan 2(x+pi/4) = 2√(3)

2 sin(x+pi/3) = -1

Thanks

Silly question, but is
sin 2(x+pi/3) the same as sin(2x+2pi/3)
