7) Find the points of intersection first
x^2 - 1 = 3x - 1
x^2 - 3x = 0
x(x-3) = 0
x = 0, 3

Find the gradients at the points
f'(x) = 2x
f'(0) = 0 and f'(3) = 6
g'(x) = 3

Acute angle at x = 0
tana = |3-0|/|1+3(0)|
tana = 3
a = 71.57 degrees

Acute angle at x = 3
tanb = |6-3|/|1+6(3)|
tanb = 3/19
b = 8.97 degrees

4) Find point of intersection
x^3 = x^2 - 2x + 2
x^3 - x^2 + 2x - 2 = 0
x^2 (x-1) + 2(x-1) = 0
(x^2 + 2)(x-1)=0
x = 1

Find gradients
y' = 3x^2 = 3
y' = 2x - 2 = 0

Find angle
tana = |3-0|/1
tana = 3
a = 71.57 degrees

Thank you! you're a life saver, I realise that I made a few minor errors
