    Question Stuck on a series question

    A pump removes one-half of the water remaining in a tank in 10 minutes. What fraction of the original amount of water will be left in the tank after one hour
    -How do i solve this

    Every 10 minutes, the water volume is halved. After one hour (=60mins), you have halved the volume 6 times.

    So the answer is (1/2)^6=1/64.
