Hey everyone,

As some of you may know, I created the 'Ultimate Raw Mark Database' which allows people to see transitions from raw marks to exam marks in a variety of subjects over the years, and thus determine aligning patterns and rough band six cutoffs. I've compiled as much data as I can get my hands on and now that the 2011 Raw Marks are available, send them to me!

Either:
a) Post them in this thread
b) PM me
c) Link me to a thread/post you've seen somewhere

The more results, the better - the more accurate the data becomes.

PLEASE NOTE: Make sure to include your raw exam mark, total weighted mark (TWM) and aligned exam mark.

Thanks.

Oh, really?

I'm applying for mine today - so there's no TWM or anything?

I'm assuming that that 94 in English was 94/105?

Added, assuming that the mark for Advanced English is 94/105, not 94/100.

Business 86 = 90
Physics 64 = 80
Added.

You don't seem to have Lazarus's raw marks in your database: http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=29297

They were the first marks released.
Cheers, even though they're ten years old I'll include them anyway.
EDIT: At a second look, they're far too irrelevant to include - raw mark alignment varies from year to year, however there has been major overall change which is simply misleading if I included it.

We only get told our raw mark, isnt set out like previous years:

Added, btw. :)

^You don't calculate English marks out of 105. They are out of 100 with paper 1 being 40% and paper 2 being 60% brah.

Yeah, I know. In the database, all the English marks are out of 100.

I thought that it would be odd that with changing a cumulative mark out of 105 (hear me out...) to 100, you'd get decimals (as it is in every single other entry in the database).

Whereas in previous years, they had given requests their English mark out of 100 (and hence the decimals), I believe that this year, along with the changed system and removal of the TWM, they are giving the English marks out of 105.

I could be wrong, but that's what I thought was going on anyway. :)
