Bioinformatics usyd vs unsw (1 Viewer)

So is there a profound difference between the 2 unis? Bioinformatics is in the engo department in unsw but it's under the science faculty in usyd.

Why would they be the same? 2 different unis, different course structure, different subjects.

Is bioinformatics really under the science faculty at USYD? Because at UNSW the science subjects are obviously taught by the science faculty, and the computing ones by CSE.

Go have a look at the course structure for both.

I just assumed they were similar because most other courses in diff unis are pretty similar apparently?

Does anyone know of a large lab class in any year where students might like to use an electronic lab notebook instead of paper? They have them at USyd and UNSW might look at them too.
