I have an assessment where I need to create a summary booklet of the different topics we cover in maths over the prelim and HSC year and I'm really struggling to find past HSC questions on Absolute Error and Arc Length that I put into the booklet. Any help is appreciated!

I'm assuming this is for new syllabus? The old HSC syllabus didn't have absolute error nor arc length, so you won't find any of those questions in the past papers.

I’ve seen ARC length and absolute error questions in the Mathsquest book for 2014/2015 HSC kids. So this is not entirely correct.

What’s the earliest you’ve been going back? Might be some when General Mathematics was known as Maths In Society.

My bad, thought it was referring to 2u/3u/4u. No idea what the general math syllabus is.

I'm assuming arc length refers to the equation:

As this is not examined in 2u/3u/4u, I'd be very surprised if it was in general math. Unless, of course, it's some other non-calculus-based formula.

No. Arc length of a circle formula found on page 2 of the General Mathematics formula sheet https://educationstandards.nsw.edu....ulae-and-data-sheet-hsc.pdf?MOD=AJPERES&CVID=

Does it have to be HSC questions?
