Was anybody ever suprised at their HSC results / ATAR?? Or was it exactly how you expected?? Like you didn't expect 6 band 6s but actually got band 4s and 5s ahah

Well I expect a mid to high band 5 for chemistry but I got a band 4, rip me lol. Other than that though the rest was more or less expected and I am satisfied with what I got even though it is not much compared to all the emperors on this forum.

If you are realistic with your goals and have worked consistently through the year then you should be able to accurately guess your bands for your subjects.
Personally i knew i would get Band 6 in Business, PDHPE and General and would definitely get a band 5 in English. For chemistry it was harder for me to guess as i had achieved mixed results throughout year 11 and 12

    Defs surprised for sure

i thought i absolutely shit the bed for my eco exam (was predicting like 80 cause i was completly bullshitting the essay questions) and got 93. I thought i did really well for 3u math (predicting like a 97-98) and only got 95 (i probs had poor working out in hindsight though)

for english adv i thought i did quite well but would never have expected to get 96 - was estimating like a 93

4u math didnt expect to get high but i got 89 in the end solely due to its good scaling (i predicted maybe a 82).

Overall i reckon i underestimated a lot what i thought i would get but i am quite pessimistic by nature haha ~~ to edit, all my friends in my cohort also did much better than they expected during the hsc as well

    I wasn't surprised.
