Here are my ranks and marks thus far.. well a close estimation for some.

Adv. Maths: 55/103 65%
Adv Eng: 33/130 80%
Agriculture: 22/69 70%
Chemistry: 35/62 70%
Modern History: 7/42 95%
Eng Ext 1: 10/35 90%
Eng Ext 2: n/a

I'm really aiming for a UAI of 90+ but my marks have been really absymal and my morale is down. =(

Can anyone please give me an indication of the UAI I will get with these kind of marks/ranks... eek.

I go to Hurlstone Ag. HS btw.

Argh, all the courses I want to do are in the 90s. I'm gutted.

Yeah it is.. I think it was ranked around 30th last year.

Well with if u improve ur ranks to be within the top 30% of all ur subjects, u should get a UAI of over 90, because the top 30% will almost certainly do very well (u goto a selective)

A random guess by flyin' would say around 90!

I'd definitely say over 90
I think it's like 60% of Hurlstone get over 90
16% got over 98
80% claim that they "failed" an exam ... the usual "oh no... I failed... when they passed with flying colours" routine

For last year, I got 95 with

Maths 2U: band 5
maths 3 U band 3
english advanced: band 5
english ex 1: didn't count
english ex 2: band 3
chem: band 5
ipt & sdd: band 6

Thanks very much for your "wild" guesses. Lol. I do feel a lot better... I swear I need to go see the school counsellor. I'm getting way too stressed out and these absymal marks ain't helping..

user: I really do hope the statistics are with me this year.. I somehow feel that out year does not live up to the same standard as previous years though. Anyway, I hope to get into a good Arts course at New South/UTS.. maybe media arts if I'm really lucky or criminology.
