hey can someone please help me work "uai seeker 2003" when it askes 4 the state percentile i dont knwo waht to write in??
i got the band percentiles 4 last yr but i dont know how to use it?
so say 4 english they say;

band 6: (6.95%)

Band 5 (48.60%)

Band 4 (37.20%)

so what do i now do ?/ please help

pretend of it as backwards

top 10% is the same as 90 percentile in uaiseeker

top 30% percent is the same as 70 percentile etc...

those band percentiles just state wat percent of the canditure got Band 6, 5 etc. Eg for those English stats u have, 6.95% of 20,000 odd students got band6, so in 2002, if u were in the 94th percentile, u woulda got a band 6
