I REALLY need some ideas for additional belonging texts! I've only got two, The Piano, and The Little Mermaid (the one by Hans Christian Andersen)... I would prefer short stories, or poems, but anything would be good really.

im currently in the same position
i have came across a really good song that can transmitt alot of meaning of belonging.
its called nullarbor song, by Kasey Chambers (country music artist)
i can relate to the song alotnot sure if u will alothough its worth a shot.
look up the lyrics, download the track and have a browse.
To really excell try not to focus just on the lyrics, describe music not only as a techinque but also as a method of belonging.

my teacher said that we need two related texts and that for ach topic we have a song or poem, a film, and a prose.
so we studied strictly ballroom, therefore we need to get a song/poem and prose.
some things i suggest are mean girls (film), Crash (film), Miss Invisible (song), the knowledgeable child (poem), go ask alice (book),
hopefully that kinda helps you guys
