hey i was just wondering which tafe courses give entry into university in business/commerce/law areas

Any courses which are related to the business field in anyway.

Eg. Accounting
Business
Banking and Finance
Marketing
Business Administration

These are just an example but keep in mind that when doing these courses you have to do that least Diploma or above if possible as University these days don't accept Certificate level courses cause of the high demand in bus/ comm and you won't meet the academic criteria.

I'm just guessing, but i doubt that a place at uni is definite, cos u just have to apply like any normal applicant and compete with everyone else who wants to do that course.

yeah for that it is the gpa + uai will determine something for uni

No, it depends on the marks that you receive at the diploma which gets converted NRSL rank and you compete with all other applicant for a spot.
