Usyd vs UTS (Open DAY) (1 Viewer)

yes i know, i have posted the same question on the UTS section, but just like to see everyone's opinion. Did the open day changed your course decisions and preferences? IT CERTAINLY DID FOR MINE!!!!!!! i am soooo an UTS person, high tech and everything
and god FREEEEEE stuffs....except Education:mad1:

yes, today's open day make me want to decide to pick UTS over USYD.

USYD, the main area was in a friggin tent and so hot and crowded. And i couldn't find ANY free food. I saw the evil cash registers.

UTS on the other hand had free stuff like drinks, iceblocks and a BBQ with the largest amounts of onions i've seen on one cooktop. The guy cooking it had a mountain of onions!!
Plus the place was less crowded with more space to breathe and move around

what about the vege foods? uts was ok but i would still choose syd uni over uts in most subjects.

apparently one of my friend (who stayed whole day at Usyd as all her courses are there) told me that there is FOOD at some accounting section, but its tooo far away to walk so she didn't bother.
Er wondering if the food is free

it was at UTS.it looked like that vege burger you get at burger king. anyone know if that was for vegetarians?

i like them both.. uts i kinda hate the main building but the IT building is soo NICE!!!!!!! ..

yeah...the talks at uts were more informative and not as boring as the ones @ usyd...

yea...there was free food @ usyd...@ the engineering area....everyone was flocking there!!!

if i had to choose between usyd and uts...i still can't decide...
but i'd rather go to unsw...!!!

What did you got it wrong? UTS does have sausages and onions! lol

no uts had a bbq too. i didn't go to the usyd bbq though. did anyone see the civil engineering kid in the car telling ppl to go to the free food at usyd?

we had this one guy who was wearing a uts to help us, hes an old guy, but man did his breath stink of alcohol, i now know why theyre so confident to ask people if they need help...

lol i got the black pen from the UTS law too!!! well the purple one right? looks very funky~ Did you attend the mini lectures? morning or avo section? I have attended the morning one

i HATED sydney, and i was almost positive it was the place for me- so i just TOTALLY changed my electives... sooo not my kind of uni.

the uts day was much more informative and.. enticing.
