hey all you first year usyd'ers...
you can download the 2004 handbooks from the usyd website:
http://www.usyd.edu.au/fstudent/careers/study/pub/handbooks.shtml

you will need to buy this for enrolment from the student centre, and if your enrolment is going to be anything like mine, i had to wait in the hot weather in a long que waiting to buy one of these suckers. save yourself the hassle and money and download and print what you need!! :)

The faculty websites should have the 2004 handbooks listed if they aren't found on that list.
Of all the handbooks, only the science, arts and economics and business handbooks are of any real value at this stage, as most other faculties do not offer such broad first years as found in the BSc and BA (ie you follow a set course structure in the first year).

They provide all the information that you need regarding your degree and faculty... Just like a regular handbook.

Just download the file and print off the relevant pages, perfectionist.

Edit: It is kind of annoying that at the time when you pre-enrol for the following year only a draft handbook is available (although the units for the following year tend to be confirmed by the end of this period).
