So I've been looking at the handbook for b science and it says that we have to do 144cp of subjects. However I've looked at my majors, prereqs, maths and all for the areas I want to study in and I've found that after putting those in they add up to 144cp however there are 2 other subjects that I really want to do I just want to know if were able to overload and do a few extra subjects than what is available

"That the maximum number you can take in your first year is 48 credit points (that is, 24 in each semester of your first year). In later years you may 'overload' and take up to 30 credit points in each semester. Please note, however, that we strongly recommend that you do not take more than 24 credit points per semester." - usyd website

Units of study outside of your award course requirements are taken on a non-award, full-fee basis.

There's a form to fill out to apply to exceed the number of subjects you can do
Edit: there's one for arts, there may not be one for science
