Attendance requirements at uni (1 Viewer)

I'm doing B. Animal & Veterinary Bioscience

I already KNOW that I will have to miss 2 days of classes; to do a practical component of a TAFE evening course that I am also doing..

What are the attendance requirements for uni?

I've heard people talking about 90% - is that for lectures, pracs or tutorials; or all 3? If you know in advance that you need days off; do they allow you to attend a different lecture timeslot, to make up for your absence?

For most subjects you don't NEED to show to lectures up at all (unless they take a roll)... but it's a good idea if you want to pass.

Most labs you can only miss one then you're stuffed after that.

And for tutorials... most of the subjects it was 80%+ attendance... but for chem my tutor stopped taking roll about halfway through semester :S
