Co-op scholarships are only open to to-be first years - any other years will be the result of someone dropping out, or extra positions becoming available.

so does that mean i can only gain a scholarship entrance if people drop out or if sponsors come along???

is there a chance i could just normally apply for another scholarship through the same uac process....and if so does that mean i start my course again or can i just continue???

and wat type of results do i need in uni to be able to gain scholarship entry after one year?? (credit average????)

yes

if you're applying for a scholarship in the same course, you just continue - there are a few 2nd/3rd year eng scholarships floating around for minority groups. if you're going to apply for a scholarship for another degree, you could probably get some exemptions if they're related (like engineering degrees) but you'd have to do the core subjects again (i think)

and go for a DN average to be safe. usually there are lots of applicants
