I'd like to transfer into Comm/Law in the future, but which one (out of the title's options) would be better to do now?
If I did combined, would I have to catch up on units to finish in 5 years if I transferred to law?
If I majored in Accounting, Finance, Financial Economics what would job prospects be like?
Is this combination useless/does it waste a year if I stayed in Comm/Eco?

Cheers for any responses :)

Doesn't really matter, just choose the subjects that will give you the best possible wam in order to transfer into comm/law :)

Besides, comm/eco and comm in itself have lots of overlapping subjects.

Right.
I've been reading a WAM of 80~ is required after first year. Is this incredibly difficult to accomplish?
Are there any majors which would make it easier to attain that WAM?
Is there even much choice first year with subjects anyway?

You might be doing ECON1202 (Q&A) in first sem though since it's a Core Subject for the Economics Degree. If you transfer over to Com/Law then you waste a subject unless you planning to major in Eco. If that's the case you might as well do Eco/Law.
