Anyone else in cybersoc? I've been to the free LAN already, network is good but they only had the demo of BF42 which is a tough game for beginners. Ran lots of newbies over in jeeps and tanks hehe.

I was gonna join a whole heap of clubs today, but all the engineering stuff went on for pretty much the whole day so when I got out they were all packed up I ended up joining the hellenic (greek) society, even though Im not greek, cause I wanted to join something and it was the only one with ppl still there but theres a ski trip later which sounds like fun

I dunno, but apparently they had a stall. but I think its still possible to sign up later, just get their email address out of the diary and ask 'em. thats what Im doing

To join a club you can go see CASOC. It's in the Guild section of the Quad - Level 1, East Wing. Some clubs disappear and aren't updated in the diary, eg. the Med Revue club in last years diary said that it was to run the 1998 Med Revue, very outdated.

If you couldn't find a club or society during O Week you can check again during week 1. All the stalls are moved from the main walkway to the Library walkway. You may have missed it. If not, go to CASOC in the East Wing of the Quad, 1st floor I think (and remember that means the second floor because the bottom floor is the ground floor).
