What happens if we want to do 15 credit points in the first/second semester?
E.g. First Semester:
ACST151
ECON110
STAT171
COMP115
ACST101
OR
Second Semster: (the recommended timetable)
ACST101
ACST211
ACCG105
ECON111
MATH133

Also, 15 credit points (with the added ACST101) in first semester doesnt sound good, seems to be too much work (or in the second with all those maths units)
Which one should I choose?

I assume you're in Acturial Studies, in that case you just enrol :)
As for which semester to do it in, flyin' or one of the other Acturial students would probably provide better advice.

P.S. I would do it in Semester 1 though. :)

There is, but Acturial Students are the closest thing to god supposedly, hence they're allowed to do more than 14 without approval. :D

Your grade point average, and your proposed timetable for that semester that you want to do more than 14 credit points. I should get approval for doing 15 cp cos i get almost 2 days off.

oh ok. so no one, except actuarial students would have 14+ CPs in 1st semester.

also, can you change your second semester timetable later on during your first semester?

You can't do more than 14 credit points in any given semester without academic approval. Since this is referring to your second semester subjects, they wont give you approval until second semester because they have to see if you did well enough in Semester 1.

majesty- well apparently i'm not a fucking genius like some!

iambored- i'm now not sure that the subjects i've chosen are even correct...is it true that i cant do any 200, 300 level subjects, even if there doesnt seem to be any prerequisites?

i think someone told you in another thread to look at the red section of the handbook so do that, i just don't want to repeat what they said. that will tell you your prerequisites, core subjects, etc.

if there aren't any prerequisites for 200 and 300 level subjects then you can do them
