Say you pick a single degree when offered your courses. Then while doing the single degree u average a certain GPA to be eligible for a transfer into double degree with your current single degree aswell. All your single degree units will count towards the double degree right? You just have to do more units of the new degree now compared to the original degree, so you are not really at uni any time longer than if you didnt course transfer and got into the double degree straight away?

Yes all your single degree unit will count assuming you are transferring into a double degree and keeping your original major for one of the majors.

Assuming you don't stuff anything up course progression wise, you should graduate at the same time that you would if you had initially entered the double degree.
