Is anyone doing a degree in Advanced Science (Honours in Forensic Science)? (I think that's what it's called). What do you do? And are job opportunities good or bad?

there are actually two forensic science courses offered....
1) Bachelor of Applied Chemistry (Honours) in Forensic Chemistry
2)Bachelor of Biomedical Science in Forensic Biology

From what I heard from Professor Roux at the Gifted and Talented students progrmme at UNSW, the job opputunities are miniscule in Australia...so I say a person of your calibre is better off doing an advanced science degree and trying to enter that field...cos if that fails then at least you have a decent degree to fall back on...whereas come to think of it there are not so many oppurtunities if u have just an applied science degree (which by the way is nowhere near as enticing as a plain old BSc for prospective employers)

So all I can say is that if you're really motivated and think you can get a high GPA, then go for it~~ Otherwise don't
