I hate how everyone just thinks UTS is only the tower
having classes in haymarket then straight after in the tower or near there for the same subject
only having one library

i'm always in the science building and i've never had a problem with the wireless =/

I hate that when you sit in the big lecture room, even on a cold day they leave the air conditioning so it's always freezing...

- There are lots of wireless blackspots in Bld 5.

- How the UTS Business Connection (UTSBC) is so badly mismanaged.

- They collect student feedback surveys, and even when there is a general concensus of major problems in subjects (time and time again) - nothing gets done (e.g. Management Decisions and Control).

- the timetables are shocking for engineering (well first year is at least)
- travelling so long to get there
- its always cold in there
- the building 2 and tower building are stuck in the 70's

the only place where ive gotten wireless was on level 6 and sometimes, if lucky in the great hall, but only if youre sitting towards the left, facing the lecturer.

I assume you mean University Hall (in building 4)? I'd hope you'd be facing the lecturer in the lecture. Otherwise, you'd be sitting in the chairs incorrectly.

Also, level 5 wireless is decent. Unfortunately, since their upgrade of Juniper, there seems to be a problem connecting in building 4 entirely. Works wonderfully in Building 1/2, and I just use my FIT login in building 10, but I'll agree with you on the wireless issue.

I hate getting to the top of building 1 only to find out I was supposed to read some form of manual

I hate that you have to walk in the rain to get to your classes, or the fact that the concourse between building 6 and building 4/1 is not undercover.

I hate how the cafe in building 6 is completely locked up on weekends, rendering the concourse, and, in fact, the entire building 6 useless if the day is not Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

I think he meant if you were facing the lecturer, you have to be sitting on the left side of the hall.

UTS need a system like MQ where classes are timetabled to start at 5 past and end at 5 to.

Like this semester I had classes at the Tower Building which finish on the hour and I am late to my classes at Haymarket.

I suppose it is a minor thing but like in my class since it was repetitive the tutor thought I was deliberately late and called me on it a few times.

Yeah. I totally agree.
You can pretty much walk to haymarket and back before you can boot to Windows XP =\
