By the way, for all Bus + Comp students - do you study in both the IT and Business buildings (5 and 10) or do we get stuck in the IT building only.

Being me, a home-r i was wondering, the big ugly building is the
a. haymarket
b. Kuring-gai
c. broadway building

maps? Lost like really lost....

by the way, being an Asian with Asian parents - camping is not a usual option.

Well since asian's dominate the IT faculty, you'll feel right at home at camp, so don't worry :).

1. Camp, what are the facilities like? I heard its in the blue mountains sumwhere.
You sleep in cabins with somewhere between 6-16 people. They will all be the same gender as you, unless your a non-recent school leaver, then you'll be mixed. You don't have to stick to your cabins if there is space in your friend's cabin or something. You don't even have to sleep if you don't want to. Its hard getting to sleep out there anyways; usually its too hot. Its not IN the blue mountains, its on the outskirts of the Sydney metro area.

2. Do we choose our own rooms?
No you don't get to choose your own rooms. The point of this is so you get to meet new people :). You also don't get to choose your activity groups, but again, the same reason :p.

3. Do we eat good or crap foods?
The food is alright, but again, your welcome to bring along your own food. They have hot water, cold water, milk and such.

4. Do we play gay games? I went to Sydney Uni Student Scheme thingy and they made us play the most most most GAY games ever created! Like solving sum mystery and we ended up running around the campus like lost duck!
Yes you'll play heaps of games like that, but perhaps not as lame as the mystery one.

5. To what extent is the physical activity like.
The physical activities depends on what we want to do. They are all optional, so if you don't want to do them, you don't have to.

6. For females, what clothes am i bringing?
It is usually warm/hot during the day, so bring something for that type of weather. It can get cool at night, but is usually warm too. If it looks like rain, then bring an umbrella and suitable clothes too.

7. I'm not a light packer - help.
Pack only what you need. Look at the list in the camp booklet you got.

8. Toilets?
There are toilets and showers provided.

9. If i don't swim, do not plan to swim do i still bring a cossie just in case. I'm not sexy and swim privately, hello! i'm vv self concious.
You can if you want. There are no organised swimming activities. You may use the pool during the free times allocated if you want to swim.

10. damn, had 10 questions in my mind earlier, funny how my brain stops functioning properly after HSC.
OK.

O'day. So wot is this about?
1. Do i bring n e thing?
Bring your student card and money to join clubs. Look up clubs on the orientation website and booklet.

2. NO CHESS CLUBS! Tell them to go and play with the computer. No offence.
OK.

3. What mind level is required? Thinking?
Not much. Have a look around and see if you like any clubs and join them if you want. Ask questions and such. Pick up freebies.

4. What is the Orientation really asking us to do?
The IT faculty welcome is held at the O-Camp, hence the orientation week is not really important for you. The only good day is o-day on the wednesday.

5. Do i have to go? I'd rather b working and earning ka-ching $$
No you don't have to go, especially if you go on the o-camp.

6. Oh well, six questions is as far as i can go.
OK.

So help and man, do i blab a lot sorri. :(
