    UTS Communications

I was wondering about the UTS Communcations degree. Which areas are the best to major in? I am thinking of Digital and Social Media and Creative Writing. Are these useful for future job prospects? Also, for this degree, would you say you need an extroverted personality?

    Re: UTS Communications

Most communication grads go on to work in Public Relations firms and according to this website http://joboutlook.gov.au/occupation.aspx?code=2253 at least 4 of the key tasks of a PR worker require a bit of socialising and people skills. Also, i'd give creative writing a miss. The general rule of thumb is if you can study something online by yourself for far less $$$, don't study it at uni.
