I read somewhere (and I can't remember where) that Semester 1 this year starts on March 11. Can anyone confirm this for me or direct me to the part of the UTS website that will confirm this for me? It's just that I am trying to plan a holiday and need to figure out dates to get back to Syd, go on hol, return from hol etc.

And I'm guessing that Local students O week is the week before that? And international students O week is the week before local students? (last year I went to the "social events" for both O weeks lol)

Anyway, thanks for any guidance you can give me!

Actually, on this page (http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/dates.html) it says Autumn Semester starts on 28 Feb.

Hmmm I wonder where I saw the 11th March?

From dates that I have, O day is on the 23rd, so its O week that week. Yeah, a week before uni starts.

you were probably looking at the last day to add a subject into your autumn semester timetable

supplementary on the 22nd of Feb?!

Autumn Semester starts on Monday 28th of February. Perhaps you were looking at dates from other unis? . Sometimes other uni's start a week later than us.

I heard some law supps were during january...so I guess it depends on the faculties.
