in 2006 i saw 2 degrees and interested me B of Bioinformatics and B of Geoinformatics. what happened to those courses in 2008, why have they been taken off?

They probably weren't very popular, so letting them run would have been uneconomical. I'm very sorry that you missed out on taking it.

http://www.uow.edu.au/handbook/yr2008/ug/informatics/H08006861.html perhaps this course will be almost as good. You can take biology/geoscience as well as Computer Science. It may not be as good as BBioInf/BGeoInf, but it's better than nothing, isn't it?
