Hey every one, well all the interviews are over and the letters are being sent.

I've been waiting for the letter since and it finally came today!

I got a guaranteed spot for a Bachelor Of Science (Biological Sciences).

Can't wait till next year now!

whole point of uow early entry is to take stress of hsc by offering non-conditional positions or conditional ones say 70 in math, so a student can focus more on a particiular subject inorder to get into there desired course (makes it easier for them)

Hey, congratulations on acceptance!!

Just as a comparison, what marks did you guys get in relevant subjects, like in the 80s? 90s? Were all your trial marks kinda 75+?

yeahh i went pretty well except for english

IPT 88% - 2nd (1st overall)
Senior Science 82% - 1st (1st overall)
General Maths 87% - 1st (4th overall)
Hospo 81% - 3rd
SOR1 72% - 14th (13th overall)
Eng standard 53% - 21st (14th overall)

thought i would've only gotten conditional because of english, but didnt, which i'm relieved in

That's what I thought the logic behind it would have been...

Yea the engineering facualty is appearntly the slowest out of them all. Most interviewers say it will be about a 2 week wait for the letter at most.

I had my interview on the 1st and got the letter on the 9th...

For a Bachelor of Science guarenteed entrance these are my trial marks

90% biology (1st/13)
73% chemistry (4th/9)
60% Advanced maths (6/19)
60% legal studies (3/9)
59% english standard (13/36)

I had also brought a portfolio with all the awards I had won such as the Science and maths competitions.

Basically if you get 75% in all the relevant subjects you will get in apparently.

Oh good I got 54% for advanced english. Hopefully I still get the comp science.

Here are my marks. Reckon I'll get it?

IPT 78% - 3rd (2nd/20 overall)
IT VET 95% - 1st (1st/6 Overall)
Physics 55% - 15th (13th/30 Overall)
Modern History 70% - 4th (4th/15 Overall)
Advanced English 54% - (70th/90) :mad1:
2U "Advanced Maths" 55% - (30th/40 Overall)

I thought the interview went well overall but I forgot to show him a few things. I had an african guy called Philip for my interview. He was pretty funny and we ended up talking about everything.... He even told me a story involving karate kid. We also talked about mathematical theories and programming techniques, languages and other things.

I've got entry into Creative Arts (Creative Writing), so long as my UAI "is appropriate". I'm not exactly sure what that means, or what UAI they're looking for, but I'm not massively worried since I'm looking at high 90's.

I'm still waiting on Law... They said that they'd contact us by today. (Shrugs.) Anyone else heard from the Law Faculty yet?

EDIT: I'm in! Yay! So full of joy...
