Forgot how to do these.....

Two lines y=2x+1 and y=mx+b intersect at 45 degrees
Find the possible values of m

Got to use tan right?

tanx = |m1-m2|/|1+m1m2|

got to find the gradient of both lines, and the angle, plug it all into the formula (x is the acute angle)

got to use tan, dont forget to factorise, but also, when tanning, make sure you dont stay out for too long in the sun. remember, the beach is there for everyone, and have fun this holidays:>.

Actually, i think the acute angle between two lines is given by, x =tan-1 |m1-m2|/|1+m1m2|
*tan-1 is inverse tan, [shift] tan on calculators

ah, willy, thats the same eqn, just solved for x! :p

also, in this example remember ur exact angle ratios, tan(45) =1 , nice n easy. also, all examples of that formula have been w/o the absolute value symbols
