u cant improve
im sorry to say
i made like 15 marks worth of careless mistakes in my trial

all u can do is slow down, take ur time
u make the most stupid mistakes in the first 15 mins of the exam, so make sure u go over that section thouroughly

I totally rule at making silly mistakes!
You can't do anything to improve as MinAi said, just make sure that you DO focus on what you're doing fully! Don't be thinking of how to answer the next question or how much time you have left!

well...all u can do is try to write bigger n slow down.

i write tiny, so that erm..*cough* is one of my faults. lol.
i write tiny so i always forgot there's a - or a + infront...ie

-b (+-) (square root) b(squared) - 4(ac)

lol.

those bloody negatives n positives i tend to look over. lol. >_<

so yeah...

with maths...do the ones u can do first..n take ur time (well..use it wisely) on the ones you can't do.
It's best to write Big, Slow, Clear n spaced out.

now..if only i remembed my own advice. lol

Maybe you'll get lucky, and the parts that you overlook, the markers over look too! ;)

You must know that markers are inhuman. They don't sleep, they eat kids who dropped out at the end of year 10, and they certainly will not make any mistakes marking - at least ones that would boost marks. I'm sure that some have a knack for marking correct things wrong. The 4u maths marker i know did that :( Which is strange considering the marking guides they are given.

Eh.. yes thats right.
But to get your exam back, you would need to break into the marking center, sort through however many thousands there are, and sneak back out... after they record your marks, but before they recycle the paper (just imagine how many half decent stories get destroyed every year...)
and then... how could you make a valid complaint about their fallibility? i think ill need to plan this some more...
but there is promise!!

maybe we could infiltrate the markers with our families??? start a fifth column :D

oxygen's overrated anyway. im too cool for it. think of how big the paper planes could get if u made them out of 3 trees each... thats a noble cause - id give my share of oxygen up to realise that dream :)

err.. you can get it remarked if you have your doubts!
Sure, it costs money, but it'll be worth it if you get the extra marks you deserve--then you can sue BOS markers and make money from that... *getting carried away*
On a serious note, if you get it remarked, you could very well get a LOWER score that'll stick with you ...

My english study tells me to treat this as a rhetoric question, bite my tongue, and prevent the outburst that may very well lead into a heated debate
So I'll do that--how's that for logical thinking
