I've been doing past HSC papers for maths and questions 9 and 10 I find incredibly difficult. 1-8 i will often get 100% but for the life of me i can't figure out how to do a large proportion of the final questions without checking the answers and seeing what you're supposed to do. Is this a common problem for most people? Do you have any advice on how to improve with this? I understand the working in the answers I just can't think of how to get the answer myself :/

i was kind of the same about 3 weeks ago, but i have just been practising those and now im getting close to full marks in the q10's. so just keep practising, you will figure out that most of them are just confusing algebra rather than hard concepts.

but then again there are always going to be those questions that are just fucked.

yea i'll keep at them, i think i'm just not recognising what i have to do. once i know what o do it's fairly easy to follow and it's true that they're mostly just confusing algebra
