What I did was starting with an equation y = a(x+11)(x-11) and you get that f(-7) = f(7) = 3, use that to solve for a and sub in x = 0 for the maximum height.

The above method should work.

I would've done it a tiny bit differently and considered f(x)=ax(x-22) though.

f(4)=3

Then find f(11)

Using Integral95's approach, identical to mine, should get 121/24 = 5.041666 ... metres.
