hey guys, I need help with the following question
Arc BC subtends an angle of 100° at the centre A of a circle with radius 4 cm. Find
(a) the exact perimeter of sector ABC
(b) the approximate ratio of the area of the minor segment.

Use the formula (where is an angle, in radians) to calculate the length of the arc. Then you should be able to find the perimeter of the sector easily.

I'm not sure what is meant by part b), as a ratio is comparing two quantities to each other and only one quantity was mentioned.

Oops, sorry about that. When copying down the question, i must have missed the second half of it.

(b) the approximate ratio of the area of the minor segment to the area of the sector.
