Hi,

I am applying to universities this year to be a vet, but i need to complete a questionnaire first. I am having a little trouble understanding one of the questions and would like someone to help me out - this does not mean do the question for me, just explain what it is asking and perhaps some important points to make

The question is:

Discuss the practical and philosophical aspects of ONE of the topics listed below....(i've decided to do Use of Animals in Research) expressing your opinion on the issue.

Okey doke so for the option that you chose, its talking about the use of animals in labs. You have to talk about the ethical concerns relating to using animals to test products such as vaccines etc.
Is this a good or a bad thing? (for the animal)
Is the death of lab animals justified in trying to find cures for human medicine. stuff like that.
