Hello,

I know some people doing accelerated math while in year 10. If they sit for HSC math extension 1/2 in year 10 and got lower marks, can they do it again in year 11/12?
Will the result in year 10 be replaced with the new one?

Thanks.

Yes they can re do the exam and the updated mark will be used. I had a friend who was doing accelerated 2u 3u 4u, although he didn't re-sit the exams he spoke about how the process worked.

Broadly speaking, within an accelerated class, students will study the exact things as regular lessons, however, in more detail and also at a quicker tempo. Additionally, once they have completed the compulsory curriculum, they will start the following grade's curriculum.
