Yes! Frostwire>Limewire. Frostwire has a built in torrent thingy, so it was really handy. And it had more relevant search results, I found.

Once in a blue moon i'd download stuff hijacked by internet terrorists; One time I wanted to watch Teenage Dirtbag filmclip for no reason-the file had the artist and all that correct, it turned out to be a girl getting pumelled by a horse :/. To my count... two songs incorrectly labelled, but apart from that; nah its been good.

I dunno about leeching from random torrents from the intrawebs either.
I'd prefer an invite to a smaller torrent site with forum type thing.

I've been pretty happy using Soulseek when I want the odd single, or more obscure music.

I wasnt happy at all at first, but it was just yahoo widgets cunting around and freezing.
It's better than Limewire, and pretty speedy. Haven't tried a torrent yet.

just visited the website and this is what it said.

FrostWire is a fork/spin-off of the LimeWire client. The purpose of this fork is because of the company, LimeWire LLC, and its standing position that may soon filter content on the Gnutella network from within the LimeWire client.

Thats probably not for awhile =\

Looks exactly the same as Limewire, and since it shares the same core, i'd say is the same. Without the malware. So no need to judge it, after all it uses the well-worn Gnutella network.
malware? Limewire?

Still using Limewire, I tried out Frostwire a bit ago, but found it to be pretty much the same with regards to speed (only ever had LM Pro versions so not sure how that compares but that usually gets ~100k for most songs).

Haven't really found anything else better for the odd song download.

yeah if you had LM Pro its the same speed. It's faster than the plain LM version.

Forums.

The idea with forstwire, in case it hasn't already been mentioned is that Limewire will block all copyrighted content if the feds get on their arse.

This is where Frostwire steps in, as it will offer the same functionality as Limewire would ahve if the feds didn't step in.
