G0t two problems ..

Whats the optimum temperature for CPU (AMD Athlon MP) and RAM ?
I'm using this 5 year old server and I feel it becomes more obsolete than a regular PC and overheating is a real problem even with 3 noisy fans (like a fkn harrier jet).

Everytime I plug in my USB stick it stalls my computer a few minutes after plugging it in the usb port (it flashes too indicating write progress) and the only way to stop it is to physically unplug it, what the hell is causing the usb stick to stall the computer ?
is it zonealarm ?

AmD's usually have much lower temperature then Intel, so I'll say around high 30's to low 40's is ok at room temperature.

AMD can run up to about 50C (its not a good idea to constantly run it at that temp). I keep my about at 42-45.

As for the USB follow the steps below

1) Plug in your USB drive
2) Open my computers
3)right click on your USB drive icon and click properties
4)Select the hardware tab on the top
5)Double click on ur USB drive
6)PIck the second tab (i am on another language windows)
7) And select the second option.

That's the one with the red block and other smaller blocks coming off it right ?
It's called Defragmentation and I have done that with another computer ...
