As most of us are from the NSW region, I am going to assume that everyone has been given the @education.nsw.gov.au email address which they'll wholeheartedly use instead of their original email addresses because the government assumes no one has an email address and would like to monopolize the domain-name of emails demographic amongst students.

Jokes aside, has anyone been to set up (or have found a way though, I don't know, hacks(?) guesswork(?)) their @education email for a mail program? It's just that sometimes we need to use these emails to contact our teachers and I can not stand using the web interface with all the colours and the repetitious sign-in (yes, I've clicked 'agree' twenty million times already).

If you know how to set up your email to use with an outside client, please disclose information on the POP and SMTP server. I'm sure this is not against the 'rules' of the service as there are none which state that you must use their Outlook-webservice as the client.

Any input appreciated.
