Limewire is slow. I use Vuze

Torrent if unavailable on wire.

Another way, visit seeqpod.com, listen to the song you want and take it from your temp files once the entire song has loaded

That's probably most of them. Check out soulseek if you don't know about it. When it works, its one of the best ways to find songs from difficult to locate artists.

To download ANYTHING in the past I used torrents - uTorrent as the program (great schueduler to automatically download during off-peak because I have unlimited off peak) and either isohunt.com or The Pirate Bay to get the torrents. If you want just a single song just search the album its from and tell your Torrent client to download that song only. However as of two weeks ago I use Nokia Music to download music as I got the Nokia 5800 it has the "Comes with Music" service that will give me one year of free music downloads.

Used to be myspace music rips. But they way I used to do it doesn't work properly at the moment. So I'm using mainly torrents for discographies.
