That mc involved a lot of maths

    Personally did 26/28

28 was rlly straightforward, 26 was rlly interesting as it involved a lot of current situations, like retail and housing.

Did anyone else think it was a hard exam? Compared to previous years...

    Re: 2017 Economics Exam Thoughts

Hard exam, the MCQ was pretty tricky. Got 19/20, I stuffed up the one on incomes (Wages, Enterprise, Land Capital, Transfer). Kind annoyed since Land Capital is so close to transfers, and it requires you to be really up to date.

The short answer was unorthodox to me. Lots of unexpected questions. Once again, nothing significant on CAD or Exchange.

Essays, 25 and 26 were the same difficulty, but 26 just had loads more information to work with. 26 was an easy pick.
27 was an absolute shocker. I pity anyone who attempted it. Aus/Case, with eco growth and Env? That's way too much.
28 was straightforward, just had to link the policies to the specific objectives. Should be easy if you knew your stats and content.

Yh IMO it was much harder than last years. Scaling should be much better.

Hmm strange trends last year there was a short answer on exchange rates and this year not much on CAD maybe next year will be luck to get CAD.

Really surprised there was no CAD essay. Predicted the Case Study but not with another economy AND Australia lmao. The exam was pretty good overall though imo

Found it ok tbh. Our teacher told us that it's one of the hardest papers she has seen.

MC was very calculation base, found it easy tho, I think I got either 19 or 20. Essay Qs and SA were good, the NAIRU question ALMOST threw me off, after realising it was a compare q.

What’s the correct order for wages? I put wage enterprise current transfer and land capital.
