Hey guys

I have a legal studies assessment task that requires answering of this question:

Evaluate the effectiveness of the legal system in balancing moral, ethical, legal and religious rights and duties in relation to surrogacy.

How could I go about answering this, and what criteria would I need to establish (given the question requires 'evaluation')?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please and thanks in advance!

Honey, the criteria for your evaluation is given in the question. ie moral, ethical, legal and religious rights.

First, research the issue, get some acts in there (you would primarily be looking at the Racial Discrimination Act) and some cases if you can.

Then based on the information you gather, make a judgment, (is the system balanced or skewed in favour of ______ rights more than others?) and write your essay, demonstrating your point of view in the process.
