'Society and Culture [Preliminary HSC]' by Marshall Leaver
It's a pink textbook - very useful and has straight forward interpretations of relevant methodologies and concepts. Also, a special guide to the conduction of the PIP.

But Society and Culture is a very easy subject. I mean, it's more difficult to fail than it is to pass.
But yerr, I went to a private school and hence we were not provided with any kind of textbooks, we had to purchase our own in accordance with the prescribed textbooks list they delivered to us.
You can also find a lot of useful stuff online though.

What are your depth studies?
in the HSC next year we are doing belief systems and popular culture (the 2 best!lol)

Lol, yes, I agree with you. Those are the two exact ones that we done. However our Belief System was on Hinduism, and Popular Culture was Television.
What about you?
I'm not sure what the specific example we're using yet.... but knowing my teacher it will be weird
