Well, Im in year 11, year 12 is looming about the horizon and with eyes set on medicine, I just want to get to know some others who are in the same boat and learn what sort of studies your doing and plans you have!

I chose bio, maths and chem as my subjects and I borrow books to look through like 'physiology + human anatomy' and 'a dictionary of medical terms'... Other then that I don't do anything, not yet anyway

iv got a friend in newcastle uni med absolutely loving it,
im doing ext maths, ext english chem, physics and food tech(going to drop at the end of yr 11)
mid courses didnt go as well as planned however . . . . . .

yeah, newcastle uni medicine atar is 93. if i get that, i might as well sit the umat.

The lowest ATAR I have heard of that got into newcastle uni is 96 and that was with an insane UMAT.
93 would not get you into med at newcastle.

My sister is a doctor, and yesterday she had to deal with a patient who died by a tumour going into her carotid artery and her blood splurted out everywhere till she eventually died. The best thing is, she watched all the blood pour out like a broken dam with a COMPLETELY horrified face. She watched her death and there was NOTHING the doctors could do.
