well i guess it depends on what you wana do when you get out of school. i do ancient and its a lot of work but from what ive heard, so is legal. if you dont know what you wana do when you leave school, then choose the one you like more, or do the best in (Y)

not really. there's little difference between the scaling of humanity subjects (with the exception of aboriginal studies)

Legal: If you get modules it's interesting, if not it's boring as hell. That said it's piss easy to get very high marks and can be a good bludge subject to boost your ranks.

Ancient: Again if you get good modules it's pretty interesting, if not, look forwards to hating life. imo contains a fair amount more work than legal due to content and can be much harder to get very high marks in depending on how big a history hard ass your teacher is.

Hmm personally I found Ancient sooo boring and horrible and thought I didn't get it , had a horrible teacher yet I managed a 93 mark band 6. And Legal I loved, had great teacher, got it, found fun and only got 89.
Anicent definitely has easier exam @ end.

absolute bs.

they are average scalers. ancient, modern, legal, geography, economics ect. all scale roughly the same. the differences between them are minimal.

i love legal studies! its my favourite subject.
but my twin who does ancient history loves it- its her favourite subject.

i'd choose legal- you don't have to write lots of essays
