"Study for the chicks!"

Nah jokes!

I study to hopefully end up in Medicine.
There's actually people who study hard for someone else.

There's nothing wrong with it if you become heaps motivated due to it.

@OP:
My MAIN reason:
To not waste my parents' money (spent on me) in terms of tutoring and my overall education.

the threat of no rice for a month motivates me :(

But seriously, keeping my WAM up is imperative. It's a number that measures my self worth :p

Nah, but more seriously, I feel that - especially at uni - I have 13 weeks of semester, and then another 3 or so more for exams. And then I get a long break. Short term pain, long term gain.

That said, it's still quite difficult to tear myself away from the internet/Facebook/TV/FIFA or whatever... but sometimes, you just have to plonk yourself down on a table and start doing the work.
