Hi all...

I know a common method of studying is to use the syllabus for each of your subjects and then write detailed notes for each dot point for the syllabus, but I have a idea for a different method, and I'm open for it to be discussed.

I am proposing the idea of solely doing end of chapter/review questions, and go back through the textbook or whatever to access the answer... and then formulate your knowledge on the subject from these answers.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

HSC questions are based on the syllabus.

If your chapter review questions don't address the syllabus points, then tough luck.
I find it incredibly time consuming to write syllabus dot point notes... How long should each answer be to each individual dot point?

I don't think there is any one best way to do it.. a combination of approaches works best for me. I guess it also depends on your learning style a lot. I use flash cards for the snappy things I need to memorise. And for the broader concepts ... trying to explain the concepts to others seems to firm it up in my head.
