I picked English Adv and Ext for Year 11, but I don't know if they are examined and marked as two separate subject or as one. All I know is that you stay after school for extension.

Can someone enlighten me, please. :D

It is considered as 2 separate classes

In adv, you do an AOS and 3 modules (you do 2 for prelim)

In Ext, you spend the whole year focusing on an "elective"

Basically your school selected a module, e.g. Utopian/Dystopian Literature-and you investigate into relevant texts and complete other writing tasks (e.g. creative) relevant to this for this topic only throughout the three terms of year 11.
