HI!
So I have a chem prac exam coming up in about a week and the prac on it says "To experimentally determine the Molar Heat of Solution of a given substance". Is that the practical where you use a Styrofoam cup and insulated lids or just beakers? Because I had written my method up for the one with beakers but idk if that's wrong...
Any help/advice would be great! :)

It's the same idea with using a styrofoam cup or a beaker, that just really depends on how your teacher wants you to write up your procedure and what equipment he/she is looking for. However, using a styrofoam cup with insulated lids would be a better option in order to minimise heat lost to surroundings. Just ask your teacher what equipment they want you to use, I'm sure using a beaker wouldn't make too much of a difference anyway.

Ok, that's good! I'll look over both the beaker and the Styrofoam cup. Thanks heaps :)
