I've dropped to general for year 12 and I'm lost on how I should study for general maths during the holidays. My teacher wasn't very clear on what to do, so should I do every chapter or only important ones? Though I'm not even sure which are the important ones. Also, any study tips and advice for general maths would be great. :)

Thanks!

Do the Chapter Reviews and see which areas you don't understand.

Year 12 General looks a lot like Year 11 General which is good news for you because you'll end up redoing everything you need when you start a topic before diving into the Year 12 portion.

In my opinion( after teaching General Maths for Year 11 and 12) the topics I'd definitely learn to have an easy time in Year 12 would be:

- Sampling and Population
- Financial Maths (including the taxation topic)
- Algebra + Linear Modeling
- Statistics (things like radar charts or even brushing up on things like box and whisker etc)

If you're able to get those topics under wraps everything else should really be approachable for Year 12 General Maths.
