Red face I've chosen low scaling subjects and i'm aiming for an 80+ ATAR!

    Hello there!

I am currently a year 12 student who will be sitting the HSC in 2019.
I aspire to achieve an ATAR of 80+ in order to study my desired course in university
The subjects I chose were based on my interest for them, not necessarily how well they would scale...

For anyone who has had experience with low scaling subjects in the HSC, is it difficult to achieve a high ATAR?

    These are my subjects:
    - English Standard
    - Studies of Religion I
    - Music 1
    - Society and culture
    - Community and Family studies
    - Hospitality

    Thank you!!

You need to get at least 3 band 6's to get an ATAR of 80. It is possible but you have to work hard.

Yes you can get a 80 ATAR. Just stay consistent in your study.

Just do well in all your subjects and you will definitely get >80 ATAR. Doing low scaling subjects will not hinder your ATAR or anything; as long as you ace them, you can definitely get any atar you want
