Currently I have to decide which subjects I should be doing in Year 11 and so far I have chosen:

Advanced Maths
Extension 1 Maths
Advanced English
Extension 1 English
Physics
Chemistry (currently accelerated)
Modern History

and I am having trouble deciding between Legal Studies/Engineering Studies/Economics

for the people who have already been through these subjects:
a)which ones r the most interesting
b)which ones r the most content heaving
c)which ones r the hardest

and any more info that you had on any three of the subjects and your general experiences in the subjects would be great, thanks :)

p.s. i am not really sure what i want to do at uni yet

Consider

1. How previous cohorts have performed in the external HSC exam in respective subjects
2. Who is likely to be taking the respective subjects (teacher)
3. Have a look at the syllabus/year 12 notes/textbook

a) Legal and Eco are equal.
b) Legal
c) Economics

I do both - both are rewarding and interesting subjects if you put in the effort.

I'd recommend Engineering if you decide to do 4 unit maths because it relates to mechanics. Also, it can help you with physics (gravitation and forces, etc)

Damm, I feel you. What about chem?
I quit it for SDD because I'm just doing bio phys next year so I didn't wanna do a subject with so much homework... rather do SDD which is a bludge... more time to study for maths you know
